Twice the car went from drive to park while pulling up to light. Now you put it in reverse and it puts itself rite back into park. You have to do it like 5 times before you can get it into drive.
We just put a new alternator and 2 new batteries in it.
Than this all started.... could that have anything to do with it?

Did you double check the voltage output after swapping the alternator? Car voltage should never go below 12v after driving a while.
Driver door contactor: use an obd2 scanner (or over head light) to make sure the contact stays closed (usually ungrounded). Transmission shifts to P as soon as driver door opens. There is an IC menu option to disable that handy feature.
Is your car exposed to heavy rains by any chance.?

Seems you have been experiencing low voltage issues... When you say two batteries, is that 2 main AGM or a pair of MAIN+AUX?

While you're there, check all the other doors to help save your battery drain.
If you fix this yourself... spray a little SILICON LUBE on the door switch ininternals.
Silicon being water repellent, it will prevent contact oxidation on the replacement part. The old part may be easily salvageable too...
If you like this car, you might want to familiarize yourself with WATER INTRUSIONS: (soaking footwells, trunk pool, hood drains in fSAMS, door contacts,...).
It will come in handy to pinpoint sneaky intermittent issues.

Could be ignition switch (EIS) see attached bulletin. If below VIN A776831 speak with MB dealership service manager, present bulletin and request free diagnostics to pull fault codes. If it is found to be defective EIS request goodwill replacement arguing defective part was installed at production.

in other words, thank God for Keyless-Go ignition, we don't need to physically use the key.
The tranny slaming into Park at 6Km/H must be a serious eye opener... Makes you wanna Vediamo that safety threshold near 1mph 😆

I'm not sure that KeylessGO button is going to help.. but maybe? I don't use the button, I prefer turning the key. But I do like the automatic trunk closer and door sensors of the package.

Underneath the drivers side carpet is a bunch of electronics, maybe they could have gotten wet and be affecting it.
