U016887 Code in B84/3 - Backup camera (RFK)

Since I have not noticed any issues, does the camera software needs to be just updated updated or this is beginning of something serious?

Prior RFK incarnations had an external CAN Module that was in charge of managing the power supply for operations.
This version is all wrapped into a complete unit. Powered from RearSAM fuse as soon as car is awakened.
The version numbers shown in OP match the latest firmware updated by my indy... but it is invariably loaded with DTCs, usually a set of 3.
RFK module complains about not chatting with the ignition switch module and the Comand screen through CAN-E2. In the process it often jams CGW that happens to be the major network bridge for all CAN's.... so I cut off the power wire to my RFK (as I am troubleshooting my crazy Alternator 50Amps swings)
sicko RFK
RFK connections
Fiber + PWR/GND/CAN-E2 at Trunk lid.
Now my guess is the fix may be a new updated Part # or a patch for the CGW module ...
any better idea or TSB???

(It may be due to RFK being powered as soon as door opened ahead of other target modules... much like "steering module" is missing until ignition:ON).
SLOW REAR DEFROST: check how many volts are present when you turn it ON. You maybe feeding it low voltage 11.8V that makes it heat up slowly...
If the backup camera works when putting the car into reverse... then I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it. Unless there's some TSB on it.

With Xentry you can see the frequency of the code and important to note whether its stored OR stored and current.

I am just keeping an eye on these 3x faults as I am entertaining RFK/CGW screwing with Rear-SAM management of alternator voltage AFTER the charge cycle
When busy CGW goes nuts... other things go South with it ..: beep-beep IC display warning "Blablabla INOPERATIVE /UNAVAILABLE" bi-monthly
These cars are really sophisticated vehicles, minus a few cutting edge bugs from 3rd party suppliers integration.
