Question Reset Service Message

I need help to reset the service b message for a 2013 E-550. I have already tried hitting the phone call button and pressing the ok button, but that doesn't show me the Assyst Plus screen. Once I found the Assyst Plus screen and click okay, I don't have any options available. -Help

So, do all of that quickly and without hitting the wrong button snd rub your belly and pat your head alternately. Always works...

Thanks for replying, I did exactly what the attachment says - The issue is that when I access Assyst Plus, it does not give any options - It only displays how many days over service B.

You're only half-way there. Once it shows Assyst Plus, you continue to scroll down (or press OK... like you are resetting a Trip Counter) I don't recall which...

- Scroll down to "Full Service" and then select "OK."
- Scroll down until "Conf. Full Serv." is highlighted, and then press "OK."
- When asked if the service has been carried out, select "Yes."

It always takes me 2-3 tries to get it right. As KEY08 notes, it's a bit clunky.

I don’t think you are in the setting mode if it shows remaining time/miles to service.

Make sure your key is in position 1.

Here are pictures showing exactly what appears, when I depress phone icon then the okay button I get reset trip odometer, when I go to the screen to get Assyst Plus, there are no options when I hit okay other than showing the miles over service B.

I

Your not entering the correct menu... inside car, all doors closed, pop out keyless button, put key in, turn to first position, press and hold answer button and immediately press and hold OK as well.

A new menu will pop up:

vehicle data
dynomometer test
assyst plus

then select assist plus

What you showed can be accessed without doing anything but pressing the left steering wheel control buttons.

Yes, the car mileage menu must be in display to make it work.

The pictures show just normal menus, not re-setting menu. And I do this with the start button in place. Just press it once. It is the same as turning the key to position 1.

Don't worry this happens to me all the time and Ive had many Benz"s over the decades. Let's try one more time: Patience is the key.
Get in car, close doors, hood and trunk.
without touching brake, turn key to first position or hit keyless go button once.
use scroll function on left side of steering wheel to bring up trip meter on dash
Press and hold phone answer button on right side of wheel then press and hold OK button on left side of wheel, hold both for 5 seconds {important} until dash shows Vehicle data, dynometer and Assyst
Then scroll down to assyst, hit ok, you will get the service menu
Scroll down to service carried out, scroll to yes, hit ok.

Repeat from beginning the whole sequence if not successful!
Good Luck.

Sometimes small detail like starting the procedure while having car in sleep mode makes it working or not.
That was crucial on older models.
The video I linked above was working for me last time I did it several months ago. Notice start in sleeping mode - cluster dark. Not sure it is crucial with W212, but you tell us?

Everyone thanks for your input, but I will have to take it back to the dealership. Nothing from youtube videos, or posts works.

From what I know the dealer will not reset FSS unless they perform full $$$ervice required.
You can also buy $49 OBD dongle and reset it on your android.
Did not check if Autel supports W212, but that should be in sale brochure.
