sorry read the first message wrong, I thought you meant chlorine gas but its hydrogen.

I think you are confused with salt water chlorine generator for pool.
The so called "no chlorine" pool but water has to have approx 4,000 PPM ( part per million ) or 0.4% table salt in it and then the chlorine generator which makes chlorine by process of electrolysis.
Chlorine, liquid = sodium hypochlorite
Tabel Salt = s
odium chloride
https://www.watersafetymagazine.com/...e%20stabilized.

Our eyes is most comfy at pH 7.2
Adding chlorine to sanitized pool also created high pH water when the chlorine is not TriChlor and Dichlor, but the common liquid chlorine or granular chlorine/calcium hypochlorite.
So to reduce pH, HCL is used or muricatic acid or sodium bisulfate/dry acid.

HCL is also the lead acid battery "1st time" water/electrolyte.

um, lead acid batteries use SULPHURIC acid, H2SO4. HCl is too volatile.

Update: so guys I put everything back and thankfully at least one of the 2 blocked nozzles did actually opened up and is spraying. So out of 2/3 are working now, and I'm defo not gonna be working on the third one for a while. However, while putting everything back the plastic panel in which the nozzles fix, is not sitting seamlessly into a plastic holder (I don't know what to call it) that's I guess glued beneath the windscreen. I manage to fix in it in completely from the ends however through out the middle the panel is raised and doesn't fix in. Applying pressure doesn't help as much since the part that is supposed to go into that long holder doesn't go in and instead pushes the holder down further which would I guess slightly deform in and pulls it from underneath the windscreen. Is this thread where I should be asking this or create a new one?

this was pretty generic and does not address my problem since I have been able to done everything these 2 manuals say, what I mean is fixing the plastic panel (in which the nozzles/brackets) are fitted, it isn't sitting properly back into place, doesn't slide in correctly in the holder that is under the windscreen. Additionally where did you get these manuals?

I get that those aren't public, and not free, is it possible if you could share the whole manual?

its thousands and thousands of mostly 1-2 page PDFs
without the WIS app to find them, you'd never find anything

oh, and on the WIS DVDs, they aren't PDF files, there are multiple 2 gigabyte sized encoded container files, WIS can *print* a PDF from a specific page after you've found it. these container files are named like rfile00000.000, rfile 00000.001, rfile00001.000 etc. and they are not in zip, 7z, rar, tar, gzip, or any other format that Win7Zip recognizes, so they are probably encrypted.

WIS - Workshop Information System

you can buy bootleg copies on ebay etc, most of these are setup to run as a VM under VirtualBox, and have the normally copy protected program 'cracked' under a Win7 32 bit OS that runs in said Virtual Machine. The legit version is $$$$$/year from Mercedes.

Calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate react with HCl to product calcium chloride (or magnesium chloride), carbon dioxide and water. No hydrogen gas is produced.

CaCO3 + 2 HCl ---> CaCl2 + CO2 + H2O

UPDATE

UPDATE: so randomly out of the blue guys I was driving on a highway yesterday (it was slightly raining anyway) I was curious to see whether the nozzles work or blocked again and miraculously all the 3 were squirting water, even the remaining blocked one, filled me with joy. Someone it opened suddenly, somehow, will be adding distilled water and some light shampoo in the tank.

After all that work, I'm glad it's working, I'm even happier the shampoo remark was facetious! Glad it all worked out for you.

it wasn't facetious, so shampoo is a no no, will try and find some workable washer fluid here then.

Cheers.
