It is not an oxidizer like chlorine or ozone, which if ozone ... it can do damaging wonders to plastic.

Mine is tropical version, so I don't have such "winter-gear" on my car .

Patience is needed. To be totally zero deposit is not easy without using very harsh chemical.

The more you poke at the plastic jet the worse it becomes... I learned that lesson with brass carburator idle jets 🤗

I once had a carburator cable stuck and engine hit like 8,000+ RPM or there about, WOT was 6,500 RPM or so......... broke 3 rocker arms, oil dipstick which was a VDO oil temp sensor...pops out of its pipe like 15cm up, cylinder head gasket if
I recalled correctly sort of swollen and then eventually over 1 year period all other rocker arms broke one by one .... LOL. It was a 4 cylinder 12 valves small 1 liter Toyota engine.

On (Honda) motorcycles throttle control comes standard with dual cables: push-&-pull... no more uncontrolled WOT from a single frozen/rusty cable. 😎

If HCL 33% doesnt work, that deposit is very bad-azz and is more than just calcium. Dang, this is not good news.
Don't breath in the HCL fume yah.
If you can access ultrasonic cleaner from optician or eye-wear shop and/or jewellers, 50/50 vinegar + ultrasonic and water is the last resort you can try.

the H-Cl releases the H, and the calcium carbonate becomes Calcium chloride, magnesium carbonate becomes magnesium chloride, both of which are soluable, and the carbonate part becomes carbon dioxide which bubbles away along with the hydrogen. some of the H and O becomes H2O (water). something similar happens with the sulfates.
