interesting, you have the conventional (halogen?) headlights, but you do have the distronic plus (at least I think I see the radar panel behind the center of the grill).,

my 2016 Lux has the Intelligent LED headlights, but no distronic. I realize these are all options. btw, the LED headlights are freekin awesome even without the european adaptive features.

I have the exact same facia with the shinny radar cover, I confirm these are white LED headlights.

These single LED's really light up the whole freeway for the length of over 2 football fields. By contrast the highbeams use old-fashioned bulbs that are yellow and pretty dim.

When I drive at night on dark highways other cars follow me on either side to watch the spectacular light scenes these LED's put out.

The smart adaptive headlight version must be really something yet I am glad I stuck with the perhaps more rugged static design...

All facelift W212s have LED headlights, at least for low beam. The standard static LED is a reflector design with a halogen high beam.

OP - you do have a unique car, and I like the luxury version a lot. I am not sure why you're comparing MBrace to Carplay, though. My car has both (I've got 6 months left on the free 5 year trial period) and these two things are not related in any way. I've dealt with Vladimir extensively.. my car has Carplay thanks to him and my car was the test subject for his W212 full ILS activation. I don't think he is intentionally rude, but he is to the point. The addition of AA/ACP to the 2016s really modernizes it. That you discussed this with your dealership is revealing, though - you're giving them entirely too much credit. Dealerships often know less about the cars, especially modifications, than enthusiasts. I complained of an erratic BT connection and had my firmware updated on my COMAND and then Vlad did the rest. When my car goes back in for stuff, I turn it to FM radio and disable ILS. They don't need to know.

Also, someone mentioned in this post about MBrace and remote start. This does not work on any W212.
