E250 w212 2012. Eco shutting engine off
my eco button goes from yellow to green and then at stop light shuts engine like its suppose to .
foot off brake restarts car which then immediately shuts off again and won't restart.
try to restart the car with the key is no good ,have to sit for 3-10 mins before car will restart with key
dangerous at roundabouts and lights Help!!!
I can switch eco button off but my wife car and she forgets sometimes and ends up in stressful situations...
let me know what you think is happening..
ive tested batteries after letting car sit for a couple of days and also when its running and battery and charging looks good.

A few things can cause that... the hard part is to corner your problem without swapping parts.
I am glad to read your battery voltage is not the source of this trouble. Usually ECU automatically disables ECO when battery vitals are questionable
I'd be concerned with keyless-Go, ignition switch and drive autorisation.. which frankly, I don't know too much about.
Any chance you can scan your car with a $150 scanner from AMZ?

That said is the car equipped with Keyless-GO? If its a loss of communication between the key or a drive authorization issue, better look for someone with Xentry.
