The other day the Command screen showed this message:
"Remote connectivity expiring. Press i-Button"
Does anyone know what this means, and what the implication is?
This is from a 2016 E350, so I assume it's Merc's way of saying the mbrace subscription expired.
When mbrace expired, does the SOS button still work?
until recently when you stopped paying for mBrace services the emergency button would go unanswered and mBrace module got toggled as inactive to keep it off the 4G cellular network.
Somehow lawyers got wind of that amazing business... then there was a batch of COM Module updates targeting the emergency functions to remain active no matter what.
You may want to inquire about this safety related update at your local shop.
