Engine Almost Stalls on Start. Any Ideas?
2013 W212 E350, ~46k miles
Haven't had any problems aside from 'alternative battery malfunction' for a couple days (around a week or two ago), but it disappeared before I got around to ordering a new battery.The problem is the bog when starting the engine. Watch the RPM's drop to almost 300. Felt like the car was going to stall.
Car normally cold starts to around 1k RPM until the Camshaft Positioning Test is over (correct me if this is wrong), then drops to about 600. If you listen, you can hear it drop lowwwwww and then go back up to 1k.

I would check fuel pressure. Perhaps turn key on, wait a few seconds, the turn to start. Prime the pump and fuel system, then start. See if any difference. May not be, but maybe.
