Hello,
so the main thing is, I found out that BT audio streaming can be enabled through engineering mode, so I’m trying to do as tutorials say, but can’t find such option. After googling some more, it seems command has to be ntg 4 or higher. Couldn’t find any photos, examples matching mine, so I’m postong here. My main menu and panel looks like this (don’t mind my defective screen):
And then I enter engineering mode (end call + 1 + #) it looks like this:
Should my command be able to enable BT audio? In one forum I saw someone suggesting to do reset, however I’m not sure if I should do it,
Thanks in advance

when you push the TEL button, are there options for bluetooth ? what about the MEDIA button ? oh wait, you don't HAVE a media button, just DISC ? huh. thats a system I've never seen before.

When i press TEL, there is option for bluetooth, I’m connected to it from my phonr, however it’s only for calls. When going to DISC it can play Cd’s and aux, however there is no option for bluetooth

ok, then there's no BT audio support on that head unit.
I have the HU5S1 (NTG 5.1) on my 2016, the MEDIA button (in place of your DISC button) lets you select USB stick, bluetooth, CD/DVD, Aux, and since I enabled it via a enabler dongle, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

if there's an aux input jack somewhere , you can get a little tiny module that uses 12V (or USB) power, and feeds into that aux jack and decodes bluetooth audio.
Ahh, i see, mine is 2011 model, so that came only with BT calls, thanks for info!
My first Mercedes was a 2011 E350. It did not have BT audio streaming option behind the DIDK button before BT streaming was enabled in the Engineering menu pages. After enabling it I had to have the software updated for the streaming to work correctly and it did.
I traded that car for a 2010 E550. I had to take the exact same steps to make BT streaming to work correctly. I still have this car and all works fine.
To enter engineering menu in my car I have to press and hold “Hang up”, “1” and “#” buttons in the center console for 6-7 seconds. Holding the steering wheel “Hang up” does not work for it.
Based on your picture you have an European model so your engineering menu may be all different.
