radio would not turn off even after turning off engine and leaving vehicle - now dead




The sooner you get it fixed the cheaper it may be because damages tend to snowball.
Short term bandaid:
Reset your car by disconnecting batteries for 10mn AND recharge/float your batteries before they are wasted by sulfation.
There is a 30% chance this step may cure your issue for free.
Long term fix:
Seek professional help from a reputable indy shop to diagnose the "KeepAwake" log with XENTRY. They'll likely be well familiar with this condition.
Cost between $500 and $1500+ (diagnose vs. repair/ parts).
Prime suspect is the ignition key module...? The right independent shop will have you in 'n out with no ordeal.
