2007 e350
radio would not turn off even after turning off engine and leaving vehicle - now dead
yesterday after leaving my vehicle I heard the radio still on. It took me numerous tries of inserting and removing the key before the car finally looked "off" like normal. It was like the ignition FOB wasn't working or being recognized or a problem with the starter of the car itself perhaps. Now today the car wont start and I get a message the the battery is low. Is this a known problem? Any ideas and what repairs might cost? At this point with 150,000 miles on the vehicle it doesn't make sense to put much $$ into it. Any help would be appreciated!!

The issue is a faulty module is keeping your CAN-B AWAKE that drains your main battery.
The sooner you get it fixed the cheaper it may be because damages tend to snowball.
Short term bandaid:
Reset your car by disconnecting batteries for 10mn AND recharge/float your batteries before they are wasted by sulfation.
There is a 30% chance this step may cure your issue for free.
Long term fix:
Seek professional help from a reputable indy shop to diagnose the "KeepAwake" log with XENTRY. They'll likely be well familiar with this condition.
Cost between $500 and $1500+ (diagnose vs. repair/ parts).
Prime suspect is the ignition key module...? The right independent shop will have you in 'n out with no ordeal.

I have a 2016 E-350. The car started doing strange things like you are describing. Also, the Eco mode never engaged the two years we owned it. The battery died and we discovered it was bad. New battery now and everything works fine.
