I already deleted most of the AEM -related links, but here is a number to call MB USA VIN Lookup | Mercedes-Benz Bluetec Update (mbvans.com)
Than this is law firm site for claims Hagens Berman (hbsslaw.com)
When the firm is slow to respond, - Shelby is good with personal emails
shelby@hbsslaw.com

I am really surprised that the Extended dates are NOT listed in the MB bluetec websites... seems like the Lawyers would make them Keep info current?

The warranties vary between models and they are pretty long.
Once the car has AEM done, the 1st link will show the status with additional link to VIN-matched warranty.
MB USA is also sending paper copies to current owners.

Some new problems added since my last post. What do you think should be the extrapolated life from here. I have 143K miles. Any other common problems I should think about for these fragile but nice cars?
- turbo housing/boot cracked - replaced the whole thing
- engine mount went south - replaced
- rear sunshade broke by itself taking down the side tracks and rear side headliner together - replaced everything
- coolant temp sensor broke - replaced
- driver seat mb tex tore by itself - replaced
- front front speaker seems broken - not fixed
- bluetooth skips - not fixed
- cracked wheel - repaired
- soot sensor malfunctioned - replaced
- rear headliner loose - fixed
- panoroof made creaking sounds all the time - fixed
- parking brake wouldn't release - fixed twice
- wheel alignment goes off about once every year - fixed
some new issues:
- Coolant leak - the dealer denied for years that there was a leak. Well, found a huge puddle one day and took pic. Replaced coolant hose water pump and thermostat.
- DEF line from the tank leaking - replaced the whole assembly under warranty
- interior fan rattle - old car

But lots of what you include here is a consequence of age, mileage, and electronic do-dads. Particularly the electronics where you don't have to look far into every other marque to find electronics being the source of many maladies as time/mileage builds. OT mental meandering here now: for decades I have continually shopped for the least number of "fancy crap" I can tolerate to avoid the clear potential for failure. Failure equals cost and frustration, both of which I am happier to minimize. Cars, refrigerators, vacuums, you name it. Took some work for me to find a fridge without through-the-door "features" and I didn't even bother hooking up the ice maker (and I love my ice and have old-school trays in there!). Heck, my daughter's not-so-old Mazda's infotainment system is going wonky, and that isn't even a "luxury" car! So if one buys a fridge with wifi and a touch screen, or the automotive equivalent, that is a cost one must be willing to accept. IMO. Old-guy meanderings now over ...back to the topic.
