This is my first wash on the new (to me) W212 and my first wash with the Adam’s Premium Foam Gun. Unlike the foam cannon, you don’t need a pressure washer. The soap spread nicely over the entire car and foamed pretty nice as well. Anyone else use the cannon or foam gun?
I have a few cannons, from Amazon and a Griots. Performance depends on the PW, with a lower psi/GPM model its not great. For example they don't foam well with my AR383 pw, but they foam like crazy with my new Northern Tool 3000psi, 2.5 GPM unit.
Also helps to experiment with dilution ratios of soaps, bit trial and error.... some soaps don't foam that well regardless.
There is no really rinseless.
Back in CA we had good city water, so I usually wash the car with plain water and took it for a drive.
With minimal towel drying it was all it took to make car looking great.
Las Vegas is having very hard water, so even treated in softener it leaves calcium spots. Big issue is that by the time I rinse 1 side of the car and put the hose away, the water is already drying and I have to rush with towel to wipe it before hard water stains become semi-permanent.
That has to be done in late afternoon, when I have shade on front driveway.
Good thing I don't have to do it more than 3-4 times a year and ceramic coating sure makes it easier.

i use a bucket with warm water and a couple tablespoons of Meguiars car wash concentrate, and a wash mitt, first lightly spraying a panel with a fine mist nozzle on my garden hose, then use the mitt and wash solution to clean that panel, then that same mist nozzle to rinse, do one panel at a time, do it on a foggy morning in the shade, so I can wash the whole car before I dry with a synthetic chamois.
we're under severe water rationing this summer, so its not getting cleaned nearly as often as it should.
Purchased a pressure washer driven foam bottle from aliexpress for about $10. Once you get the soap concentration correct; its a real time saver.
I been fascinated by the large number of battery powered pressure washers on the market. They appear to be priced on the high side for the performance output.

I use Griots that does not require a pressure washer and it does the job but nowhere near the foam a proper foam cannon provides. I also use a squeegee + old shirts to dry it.
