OM651 shakes the entire car after cold start.
Hi everybody,
So yesterday i fired up my w212 for the first time since last thursday, and last thursday everything was fine. But when i cold started it yesterday (about -4 C) the car revved up to 1,3k rpm before calming down and was giving of a noticeable shaking. when i put it in drive the shaking became even worse. After letting the car sit for half an hour, i began my drive and then everything was fine. Any suggestions on what the problem might be? Any shared experiences on how to fix this annoying issue would be much appericiated. I am concidering that one of the glow plugs might be the issue, but i dont have any lights in the dash.

Currently i do not have any check engine lights, but when i started my car this morning i let the glow plugs glow a couple of times, and it did not shake as much as it did earlier.

assume you had ice/gelling in the fuel line. Always run an additive with every fill up to prevent that.
hot shots secret diesel anti-gel and EDT is great for winter/summer.

There's another issue to be considered, diesel is subject to algae growth in the tank and this black gunk can grow just fine in diesel fuel. If you do not treat it now and then, it will plug up your system and give the symptoms you mention. Filters will catch the stuff, but it keeps growing and will then clog the filter.
