2016 S212 Auxiliary battery location
Hi,
I am about to change the starter battery on my 2016 E220d blutec wagon and for good measure i will also change the auxiliary battery. I am however unable to find the auxiliary battery at any of the locations showed in all guides i found (and in wis).
I have looked in the rear under the trunk floor (next to the adblue tank), beneath the left and right side paneling in the trunk and also in the drivers side dashboard.
Did mercedes change to capatitors for the last of the S212? The car has option 4U7: VOLTAGE DIP FUSE FOR START
OR STOP SYSTEM.

If you have ECO S/S without an AUX batt its fair to search for a "voltage converter". Hopefully Konigstiger will lean in with knowledge for ya (VIN # helpful!)
This module is built with a couple electronic capacitors that tend to self destruct. Consider upgrading these caps preventively ahead of toasting.

The win number is wdd2122111B326736. After some research on german forums it seems like mercedes changed to capacitors (located above passanger side fotwell) and a resistance module on the starter battery for the last produced s212.
