Panoramic shade

Hello folks. My rear half of the panoramic shade wont slide unless I use my hand to help open it. Is this a lube issue or the actuator is going bad?
TIA

Maybe put some lube on a rag and wipe the shade tracks? This has worked for me in the past on side windows and the rear sunshade.

labor only until snaps...

It sounds like your rear shade assembly is getting ready to require its maintenance.

Don't push it to blow a fuse unless you're curious about your R-SAM trunk module.

The system may require lubrication plus fixing of poor connections. Maintenance can be limited to labor only, until something snaps then it'll be repair time.

Both rear window defroster and rear sub-woofer amplifier are suggested items to inspect while you have the rear deck out.
