W212 rear door lock actuator

Hello guys,
I wanted to ask is there a difference between the door lock actuators. I have a keyless version and my actuator stooped working.
I want to replace it and I was wondering can I buy any used lock or the lock has to be from a keyless version?

internal failure...

Do we know WHAT part inside these locks keeps failing?
At one time there was a tiny broken spring that became the easy repair for the famous bouncing locks.

control pins galore

Lately the locks electric connector look crownded with many pins. I wonder what's going on the inside: motor, switches, sensors etc...
What kind of TLC does this module need ???
