Actually both rear were sagged. Seems like wagons do have rear air suspension. When i fired it up got a message on the dash asking to wait as the rear was rising. Interesting, learning something new every day.

thankfully, the Arnott replacement air springs for the self leveling wagons are affordable. the 4-wheel dynamic air suspension used on V8 AMG models, not so much so.

2015 E350 4Matic Wagon, 2018 GLE350 4Matic
Timely post as I found my 2015 E350 wagon sagging in the rear this morning. I haven't driven it in 4 days but it's gone that long before without showing any sag. The dash displayed the "Vehicle Rising Please Wait" message on the dash for about 30 seconds after start up and it came back up to normal height. I made note of the height to the top of the wheel arch on both sides and will check on it every few hours to see if it is moving at all, but I suspect the car will keep itself level as long as the battery has enough charge and the leak is small. Speaking of battery, I connected the iCarsoft MB V2.0 scanner to check for codes and noted voltage was under 12v so I connected the Ctek charger. I found two stored codes, that basically said the left and right rear were out of range, or something to that effect. At this point I'm suspecting a small leak somewhere and the compressor was keeping up until the battery dropped below a voltage minimum. Will continue to monitor but likely will choose another vehicle for an upcoming road trip.

The white plastic 10mm air lines are notorious for chaffing on sharp metal or sharp plastic edges on there way from the compressor under the back to the air bags. Have had to repair a couple on our previous E350 wagon. Good news is you can get 10mm air line & press-on couplings for less than 10$ on line.
