What wheels are currently on your car? I've been trying to find someone with a set of the AMG wheels from the prefacelift models, they're one of my favorites

By the pictures your rear door pins disappear in the door when locked. I assume here that the picture was taken with the doors unlocked. The problem with this is safety related. With the door locked you cannot unlock the rear door from the rear seat. It is like the child lock is ON for everyone sitting in rear. The original pins are long and shaped for finger grip to be able to pull them up and unlock the doors.
The front locking pins pop up when you pull the door opening handle but the rear do not. If, for example during an accident the front driver and passenger become unavailable to operate door locks and the car is in fire or sinking in a lake or river it would become pretty bad situation for the rear seat passenger not to be able to open the door and get out.
I know (surely hope) this accident scheme is far fetch but personally I would never make my rear door unable to open from inside. For the above safety reason I even hesitate using the child lock on the rear door but have done that though with young children in "trouble ages".
I'm talking with the experience from my prior 2011 E350 and the present 2010 E550 and 2013 S550. If Mercedes changed the way rear doors unlocking works after my cars were made then ignore this post.
