Naah, He is sending kids to college.
But you should get free cappuccino, although on my last visit in Vegas they lock them due to Covid.
Last year I had 2 bids on my driveway pavers.
1 was for $30k
2nd for $60k.
The same job, the same, or comparable materials.
Gotta love free economy.

Seems like quite a lot to me, but I think I have one leaking as well, so I'll be finding out.

I recently had my indy replace both rear lines on a '11 S212 from the ABS to the calipers. It is not a job for the faint of heart. Each line is a single tube the needs to be bent to fit precisely from the front to rear, crossing between the subframe and body.
My car had 15 years in NY, rust belt, prior to my purchase. The lines had visible rust and were flagged during the PPI as a weakness. The rest of the car checked out clean. I anticipated a $3000 expense for the lines; the repair came in closer to $3500. This is a 90% labor project. ,
Perhaps an sedan is easier than the wagon, but I would plan on 10-15% over the quote.
Good luck!

Yet, I would think that a good Indy shop would be less than an MB dealer.

I replaced an 18 inch length of brake line on my 2011 S212 that was running under the drivers seat side when it burst due to a rust pinhole. I was able to splice in cunifer brake line (copper nickel) to the existing brake line and repair the affected section. While doing research to complete the task, I was grateful that the line was pretty much a straight run and easily accessible. If the brake line was compromised towards the rear axle of the vehicle, it would have entailed dropping the entire rear subframe to access the complete line as it snakes above the rear axle and would have been beyond my capabilities to wrench.

Yes, it sucks, the wife's car to, so that means she'll be driving mine I'm hoping it's just a section, but until I pull the bottom panels, I'm just guessing, could need both rear line complete, 8 years of Cleveland winters.
Thanks Retna7

i'm really disappointed Mercedes stopped using cunifer aka copper-nickel, those last forever. I expect that kind of crap on a Dodge/Ram Truck

hah, I remember my 1965 F100 6 cyl 3-on-the column pickup truck. brakes got sketchy, mechanic found leak in a tube, each section he replaced, another section blew, I told him, go ahead and replace everything, so he did. old mexican mechanic I'd heard was fond of old trucks. if I cleaned that truck out, and put some fresh gas in it and a new battery, it would probably run again!

The new lines are copper/nickel. Since it is tubing, my indy did not purchase through mb. The new lines will probably out last my wagon.
