Ill attach the picture below. i have a E class w212 2014, Im wondering if anyone could help me understand which colour wires in the attached picture connect to which other wires as the colours are differnt. Wouldnt mind paying for this knowledge if need be aswell. Paypal only though. There is....

It looks like part of the connector wiring was broken off... you are asking for a schematic to solder a bypass around the SRS connector, right??
(you should really "replace this whole section of wiring to preserve passenger safety"- Tempering with SRS wiring may be hazardous ).

HI thanks for the reply. yes i thought soldering them back would be the only option really. unless i can find a new connector and do it another way but not sure where to start there.

Looks like seat occupancy connector MB does not offer SRS connectors separately search 2045404910 harness may match your vehicle/connector: https://www.ebay.com/itm/23413813291...cAAOSwsR9hFysg

John,
I tried for an hour to go thru WIS to ID the 4 wires in question, I am baffled that I can't ID the white grey wire at N32/? seat control module or the A76 seat belt retraction system wiring diaghram.
I DO have have the same 4 colors combination wires as your car, but on my DRIVER seat.
So no wiring diagram I seen has grey-white wire. I am probably looking at the wrong module ( how can it be ??? ) or this is a facelift screw-up. MB information for facelift cars, some are not accurate.
For me it is worse, I am a right hand drive car and many ground points are NOT accurate.
These are the wires and harness as seen from BEHIND the seat towards the front of the car and DRIVER seat.
This is from my 2019 archive when I was thingking to replace the seat with Recaro, but no can't do.
Red-White, White-Grey, BROWN and Yellow-Red.
Your information is wrong :
White and grey
Brown
yellow and red
Yellow. <<<< White-Red, yes ?
Your safest bet is to change complete wire assy and its going to be freaking nightmare to disconnect it on the opposite ends where it connect to other modules ( more than 1 for sure ).
If you are patient, take close up photo and ID the brand of the PLASTIC connector, you may get lucky and get the connector brand.
Zoom close up photos needed and magnifying glass.
Since I never mess with car seat YET, I do not even know those yellow connectors are connected to what module actually ?
Aside from N32/? seat controller, there will be airbag connections too. My seat is option 275 and no massage yada yada, the basic one only.
That is all for today.
Perhaps if I got more time, I will dig deeper as I am also curious that there is a grey-white wire on my seat.

I forgot to ADD, looking at the wire size, those 4 fat ones are POWER delivery and not data ( CAN-BUS) or simple command.
Brown 100% is surely Ground.
Other colors, I can't say with certainty.

thanks again for your reply and information.

Spoiler
hmmm. the passenger seat pressure sensor on your version has brown, pink/black OR violet/green, and red/blue wires on the N2/10 (SRS control unit), so I don't think thats it. X55/4 is the front passenger seat connection block for a RHD car
I think we're going to need to know whats on the other end of either side of that connector in order to trace those wires down.
this is gnarly complicated, because there's so many combinations in the world market of different levels of SRS systems, power seat controls, etc etc. you have active child seat detection (code U18). There's apparently also a 'belt tension sensor' B48/3, which has a captive connector (with white, pink, black, and NC (no connect) on 4 pins), then a cable from that connector to X28/42 which connects white to white, pink to pink/white, and black to brown/white, NC to NC, and that in turn goes to N110, the Weight Sensing System (WSS) Control Unit. sooo much fun.

do we have any clue what either end of this connection goes to ? I went through dozens of pages of seat related schematics and if I knew what this connected, I could narrow it down.

do these cars (and specifically yours) have airbags inside the seat back, or just curtain airbags around the door frame ?

Blimey i really couldnt say, i think it just has curtain airbags from the the sides having airbag written on them.
im thinking about unbolting the drivers seat and seeing if the connectors are the same on the drivers side and them matching from them at this point.

the huge complication here is there are so many code options that impact the seat wiring. and WIS is pretty darn complicated to navigate. mebee tomorrow I'll pull as many of the seat schematics as i think apply to your car and upload them as PDFs I'll lead with your datacard which has all the option codes, as many of the diagrams cover multiple options via using dotted boxes with U codes. right now, its almsot 2am, and I'm on my phone, not my big dual screen desktop.

John, becareful, for my car and DRIVER seat but code 275 :
1 - White/Red <<<<< AIRBAG pin 1, pelvis airbag
2 -White/Grey <<<< AIRBAG pin 2, pelvis airbag
3 - BROWN <<<< Ground of airbag
&
- Yellow-Red <<< one of the wire for NECK-PRO head restraint solenoid
1 to 3 they are R12/41 AIRBAG squib !! ( .The squib is the component within the air bag inflator that begins the deployment process.)
So battery need to be disconnected.
Here is a video which shows easy way to remove seat's azz-piece ONLY ( if you have not ) to access connectors without removing complete seat out of the car.
I found my WHITE-GREY cable, got a headache needing to look down and leg up
These are small wires not even 1.5mm DUHHH, I tot they are big from photos.
Anyway, here are our ( John's & mine ) problem :
Wiring assy end connector, let's use X55/3 for my driver seat, where the pelvis air bag wire are located, is in the WIS digram...yes.
However, X55/3 connector end does not go directly to the airbag, but via airbag connector and wires. If there is NO change in wire colors, we are gold.
If there are wires color change....hhmmmm, we need to inspect visually to make sure if any.

I don't understand how John's passenger seat ( LEFT side, because he is RHD like mine ), the WIS wiring diag for air bag control unit N2/10 which is for all W212 cars, does not show his actual as-is 4 colors combo ?
I have not inspected my Passenger seat wire colors for pelvis airbag.
Attached the N2/10 airbag wiring diag, 2 sheets.
Attached Driver (N32/1) and Passenger (N32/2) seat controller wiring diag. BUT this is for : Model 212 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror))
I have not yet search for Code 244 Sports Seat.

While you’re in STAR wiring pull connector/pin illustration for b48, b41/1, r12/42, y24.13 to assist in identifying broken connector possibly circumventing harness replacement.

the catch here is, the OP's car isn't code 275, its got an entirely different set of SRS related codes...

Is there a way not going thru Xentry and hooking to the car OBD2, to get connector specification ?

Those 4 wires belong to airbags.
I was hoping MB will place 100% information on its seat information sheet, all the way to airbag, but they split it.
The headrest NECK-PRO also belongs to airbag wiring. Very confusing at first me focusing all attention to Seat Controller N32/1 and N32/2 for Code 275 seat.

While in STAR wiring click on r12/42 in wiring diagram should bring up option to display associated connector/pins. I do not have access to STAR at the moment otherwise I would do it. And yes it would be best to identify equipment to pull and relevant model year diagram. Also check wiring diagram legend for U848, U859, U958 & U831 explanations.

ODBC has zero knowledge of wiring, that would be like asking a network of computers where their ethernet cables are physically routed... they don't know or care, they just know they can send data back and forth.
