Try lowering the centre armrest so you can reach in with your shoulder or a stick then hit the green safety release button but can't you use the truck release button from the driver side door inside, plus can't you use the truck release button on the trunk itself or I am missing something/misunderstood your question?

If the car doors are open then the interior door lock button is accessible. Unlock the doors using the interior door button. Then open the boot.

lock keyfob
the doors are opened but the trunk release is locked because the keyfob in trunk presumably ignored by keyless sensors.
@W205C43PFL has it:
Rear seat armrest door to access the trunk emergency release with a broom stick

I assume you don't have keyless go because I tested it any ny car but the car didn't lock . I think those answers will lead you the right way to open it

So question is, will it lock with 2nd key in the pocket?
Will it lock by pushing the lid button?
There are always ways to fool idiot-proof system.

locked in keys
Normally Keyless magic antennas should not lock keyfob but by the time the battery is exhausted it may be fair game.

I’m guessing he may have been embarrassed by some of the obvious responses and may not have given it thought after his initial panic.
I don’t think he will respond to this thread

His three posts to date are on this same topic in three different sub-forums where he asks the same question.
