Hey guys,
My 2014 Facelift E350 has keyless go fitted, normally its fine but occasionally the starter will engage the ring gear and kick the motor slightly then release, I press Start again, click - kick - release, and again it will stay engaged and start the motor?
Has anyone else experienced this, I did a search on "keyless go starting" but nothing popped up.
I'll make a quick vid of it when its doing it again.
Cheers.

Pull the push-to-start button and insert the key to see if the issue remains. It really just sounds like your starter is going south.

check the basics...
Sounds like a weak battery more than the KeylessGo flaking. Either a bad cell or deeply discharged below 12V
A 1/4 bad starter brush would spin slow-slow-slow like poor battery but consistently so.
Loose cables connections can ruin the starter efforts. Given the 600A starter demand, you can simply look for discolored connection as evidence of heat.

Thanks heaps guys,
that's some great ideas to start checking with,
I'm guessing the battery might be the issue as I had the Aux fail recently and it was the original one so I haven't checked the main one it's probably the original one also.
Cheers!

welcome
Try a CTEK charger therapy and your battery may well last another 4 years... if the car charges instead of draining it below 12V
