Hey did anyone experienced the same issue?so I have a 2014 w212 e300 4 matic with 130000km on it. that problem I have is, when I am driving and come to a stop or when I back and push the breaks, I get a clunking sound from the rear.help would be much appreciated
Lift Your car with a jack and check your rear subframe and arms. Push and pull all the arms to see if they move or not.
I recently had a similar issue, the part of the subframe to which an arm is connected literally broke off, and the arm was just staying suspended in the air, moving freely, hitting some parts when braking, hence the clunking noise.
the rear subframe corrosion seems to be a somewhat typical problem in this model and the c class..
