12v socket at dashboard not working

Just discovered that the 12v socket ( which has replaced the cigarette lighter socket) does not have power. Checked fused but cannot find any blown fuses. Could the socket be faulty?

you said checked fuses... that is front or REAR SAM?

I'd double check more brown/blue fuses ✔️

I did check the fuses in the engine bay and boot as per the fuse sheet, but will go through all brown and blue fuses as suggested. Thanks

Did you check with a multimeter? sometimes it's the plug and Im sure you know it only works with the ignition on, In my '03 the plug on the back of the power socket came loose, I wiggled it and pushed it back on with a pick tool and it worked again?

With you multimeter...

If all fuses are good
Then:
  • Confirm you're missing the +12 side
  • Check the GND path is nearly good
🤞
