2015 E350 Engine & Transmission Mount Replacement

Are any special tools required to replace the engine and transmission mounts on 2015 E350 RWD Sedan? Can it be done with just jack stands and a floor jack? Any insight would be appreciated.

I don't know the answer to your question but I do recall that there have been a few posts describing this work in the last couple of years. If you search for them, it will probably give you lots of information.

good move 👍

you should be fine if you can free your jack and use it or a second jack to support the tranny weight while you swap the mount.

This mount is a very positive maintenance step to help prevent damage on the intermediate shaft bearing.

I wonder, are you feeling vibrations? what speed?

What's your current mileage ?

I'm considering replacing mine on same vehicle. Can you share how many miles on yours and whether you feel the vibrations or whether it's more preventative measure? Mine is a 2013 W212 with 89K miles. A local mechanic recommended it, but I'm not sure that I need it yet.

I did mine last year - lots of effort but nothing crazy. My only pitfall was the steering column disconnected and I wasn't expecting it.
