I get this when selecting the ECU on my 2015 SL400. I can read and clear codes, if needed, but nothing else. Does anyone else have this "problem"?
I am updated to the latest software and this happens with both my Creader Elite BENZ and my Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ.
(By the way, I just got an update to the Android OS for my Elite 2.0)

Ah good point, so the control module version it meant the software version and not the hardware version, I am guessing the tune you applied has a custom version as a result?

No problem reading and identifying the ECU with either XENTRY or iCarsoft. I still think the LAUNCH Creader is superior to iCarsoft or any other scanner other than XENTRY, especially for the price. If there is any type of action I need to take other than reading and clearing faults in my ECU, I can use XENTRY with the @BenzNinja version.

Both of my cars (W212 and W211) have a surprising number of stored codes. But (unless I'm missing something), Launch doesn't seem to distinguish between active and inactive codes the way Xentry does. Is there any good reason to keep all these codes? Or should I just clear them all and start with a clean slate? Both cars are performing flawlessly in every respect.

I am trying to use my Elite 2.0 to diagnose my Airmatic issue (2015 E400 Wagon). Specifically... in the Airmatic special functions, I've been trying to fill struts and/or complete the level calibration (oops). However, the F# function buttons don't seem to do what is advertised... every button push (F1, raise LR; F2, lower LR; F3, raise RR; F4, lower RR) has the effect of *dropping* the left rear!
Now I'm unfortunately stuck in a "not completed" level calibration state, with the left rear tucked, and the car won't air itself up automatically, either (and which I presume also explains an adapative headlights unavailable error message).
Has anyone else experienced this, with the Airmatic, or any other controller, on the Creader?

Did you back up your settings before trying to make any changes to the module? I assume cycling the car off and on does not fix your problem.

I did backup settings... but restoring apparently doesn't do anything for resolving the calibration not completed error. Cycling the car makes no difference... I need to figure out how to manually inflate the bags... or; hmmmmm... maybe if I just use jacks to set the height, and then I can complete the calibration that way.....

If you didn't make a backup of settings (or did not have the option), and a off/on cycle doesn't work, you should contact @BenzNinja to fix your problem.

Happily... jacking up the car, measuring to level both sides, allowed me to complete the level calibration, and the car aired up just fine after I dropped the jacks and started it up (and this also cleared the adaptive headlight error message)
Unfortunately... it does seem that my RR level sensor is out if sorts, reporting incongruous readings... it's like the sensor arm flipped itself around 180 degrees, readings going down when it should be up!
Anyway, I posted here more for the issue with Creader F buttons not working. Would be interested if someone else could check their experience - just DO NOT enter level calibration mode!

Even the high-end Autel US$3K plus could not handle/calibrate some AMG door electronics....I was surprised to see that video.
Therefore you must have also a Benz-Ninja Xentry for peace of mind.
Jetta has it, I have it too.
The more you guys play with the Launch, the more we learn.
I hope none of you BRICK any vital module.

Well, US$150ish scan tool, it must have its weakness. Thank you for the reporting.

I discovered today that there are things I can do with the LAUNCH Creader that I cannot do with XENTRY without a coding license. I posted here about how to disable Distronic Plus in the Central Gateway Module (CGW/KGW) (N93) using LAUNCH Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ. When I tried to do the same with XENTRY, all of the Values were grayed out and could not be changed. However, I can change the values with LAUNCH (and my AUTEL MaxiDAS DS808 scanner). So, having both is a good thing as XENTRY is superior as a diagnostic tool. To make coding changes with XENTRY, you need either a license or a tool like Vediamo.
