Bigger caliper does not make your car stop faster or less total meters to dead stop, granted your current front brake is healthy and so is you tire.
Your tire matter more if stopping distance is what you are after.
If resistance to fade because you drive hard or have fun drive at the track, the bigger brakes will fade less or overheat slower...YES.

Keep the rotor clean. Those damn drilled holes ( assuming yours is drilled ones ) are dirt holder, harboring brake dust and rust and can make small mount/rise and then your brake pad and the rotor starts to wear funny.
I have replaced my front rotor at a mere 30,000KM approx, but I "raped" it at the track for 30 laps in 2 visits.
However, I am on a 344mm rotor and 4 piston Brembo caliper as standard kit from MB.

I have a 2011 E350 setup pretty well.. I do a lot of auto cross and I use stock calipers with Power stop drilled and slotted rotors front and back with Stoptech ceramic pads front and back and goodridge steel braided lines and super dot 4' fluid and I've had no problems with warping or braking at all..
Looking to upgrade to 4 piston calipers in front and 2 piston calipers in rear with bigger rotors in front. Perhaps use same size rotors as on E550 Coupe for front
I upgraded my E63s brakes to CCB calipers. Yes they were expensive but look at the size of the rotors and the calipers not to mention no brake dust and instant stoppage.
If you can source a set, Id say go for them, I surely love mine though
