Windshield wiper/washer Inoperative
My front windshield wipers and washer are totally dead. I've checked the appropriate fuses and no joy. Would like to know how to access the washer pump and wiper motor. Hoping for a loose connector.

When hood opened as in un-clicked, wiper will not operate. That is the safety installed.
That means if hood switch defective it could also be the reason.
However a healthy hood switch when opened and car moving, warning comes on the dash reminding hood opened/un-clicked.

Hood DUAL SENSOR SWITCH
MB grade:
1 switch on the left side
+
1 switch on the right side.
Expect them in a serial connection. While in there silicone/waterproof these exposed connections.
Uses a pretty good grade microswitches.
