W212 car engine dies randomly
My W212 E200 Blue EFFICIENCY CGI petrol 2010 model car engine dies randomly without any warning when I am slowing down to stop or driving at slow speeds. The RPM needle just drops and the engine turns off with all dash lights on. It starts again without any problems on turning the key.
The diagnostics suggested that pressure pump was faulty, this has been changed but the problem still persists.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Engine dies randomly while driving regardless of new high pressure CGI petrol pump.
Stop replacing good parts! Instead look for evidence to troubleshoot faults.
The age old question is to figure what goes missing: gas supply or ECU spark power?
I am going to guess your mechanic picked up on clues for low rail pressure and devided to replaced your pricey pump.
Following current direction without any active fault report, I'd scrutinize the output of the low pressure in-tank pump (look for supply in the 70psi range).

As Cali pointed out, trace your LP fuel pump state of health.
I wonder why is your HP fuel pump was replaced first and not focus the attention to LP fuel pump and the fuel filter first ?
LP fuel filter will clog first before HP fuel pump get worn out.
Becareful of fuel starvation to HP fuel pump, it uses the gasoline it pumps as its own piston lubrication. The main gear to camshaft is oil lubricated, but the actual fuel's High Pressure pumping is gasoline lubricated.
