do you like to drive your car, or just put it on a pedestal and look at it ?
if you drive it on real world urban or country roads, 20" wheels will ruin the ride, and be extremely fragile, bending/breaking on road cracks, pot holes, etc, and sidewall pinch flats going up driveways, and so forth.

A W212 is likely 1000 lbs or more heavier than a bimmer, and was designed for 17-18 inch wheels, with /45 or /40 series tires. Your E220 diesel might even have 16s.

good luck with that. many folks here who mounted 19's hated them and switched back to 18s. I'm not even sure what tire you'd mount on a 20 that has the correct outer diameter, it would have to be a /30 or something, brutally low profile, the only ones I found that are close to the right OD don't have the load factor for the heavy Mercedes.

You got me thinking about the 20" and I am sorry for my tone earlier.
