Hello my friends from MBWorld,
I've had a 2014 E350 with a broken air conditioning system for some time now. I would like to narrow down the problem with your good help. I think it's just a bad AC compressor but here is what I know if anyone wants to throw in their ideas.
- AC Compressor clutch does not engage when AC is turned on
- Low side has higher pressures (75-100 PSI)
- Radiator fan works fine
I've always seen that there can be some AC relay or fuse but I never found any in any fuse box diagram so I could never really check, information about any AC relay or fuse is appreciated.
I appreciate any information anyone has to offer and please request any info you'd like,
Thanks

check clutch circuit
Test the continuity of the clutch coil... these are known to get open.
Check that voltage/GND is present at clutch circuit.
Next step use a scanner to read the status of AAC controller.

If you do it with a MB-aware scanner, and the problem is the clutch, you should get something along what I described in https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post8694515
@tvn858 and @Rulebraker followed some of the steps, and they also repaired their AC at a low cost, but some ^&*(@#$ words in between.

no air 🫤
When A/C goes out is when you need a working sunroof. ✌️
Scan the car computers
test the compressor clutch
check voltage supply
....
get more ice-cream
