2016 Cabriolet top
Top will not raise. YouTube video instructions relieving hydraulic pressure (done), then pulling out "catch"...the "catch" o both sides will not pull out, even with exertion. Any advise before taking to MB?

No joke, cabrio top is not easy to work on as mechanical, hydraulic and electrical need to sync. Very labor intensive job.

One of your soft-top sensor has gone marginal or a broken wire to it.
The labor to pinpoint your common issue will require efforts to identify the bad guy and materialize its replacement.
Dealers have a strong affinity for expensive parts and quick labor which your job is the opposite of.
Thus an independent MB specialist would be an excellent first choice now.
Hope these tips help to exercise your best options. As an aside... try to keep your MB out of the rain as much as practical.
