Engine Mount replace
Hi all! I have a Mercedes w212 e220, Om651 Year 2010 and I want to replace the mount engine both of them. Can anyone help me with some procedures I must do because I do not see much documentation on the web. I must lose DPF and other stuff? And can you tell me from where it is better to lift the engine in order to not damage something

I did it on my E250 Bt (same engine) last spring.
Driver side is easy, but for passenger side I had to remove DPF and then it was easy.
Your engine might not have DPF, so check the access.

Frankly, I don't remember.
I have lift with cross member and somewhere I found a point where I could put bottle jack between lift and solid part on the engine.
For passenger side mount, DPF has to go out. I tried special wrenches and it did not work. With DPF removed it is child's play.
Since I removed DPF few times before, with lift it is 20 minutes job for me.

Can you please tell me how long this took, and if you had any help. I booked a self station for tomorrow and I want to know if it will take longer than 3 hours.

Lot will depend on your skills and experience.
At this point, I could do both MM on lift with slightly above 1 hr.
Even if you have skills, the learning curve doing the job 1st time, usually triple the time.

With my experience I have "torque wrench build into my hands" and since fitting big wrench there would be very difficult to, I used natural resources.

So I changed yesterday my engine mounts, and I want to share with you how I did it. Like you have said on the left side is child play... You can change it very easy. First I lift the engine a bit from above it have 2 place from where you can do this, after I loosen the upper screw with 16 fix rench on both side and the 2 bottom screw. After I put a jack under the gear box to lift the engine even more. The left don't you can take him out easy. For the right side I had to lose the steering box. You have a metal plate with six screw. And after the mont, have enough space to revive it and put the new one... All the reparation I have done it in 2 hours. My car was a w212 e220 2010 engine on 651. With five-speed
