Heater not turning Off

Hi Guys thanks for the ad. i have 2009 e220 the heater motor won't turn off even with the key out of the ignition, i have replaced the resistor but still won't turn off any ideas TIA

You can/should read data with a scanner or simply go ahead and take 5mn chance to solder it for free - You be the judge where you take shortcuts. Solderless HVAC AAC Module can comand stupid actions too - Scanner let's you make better educated guess so it pays for itself.

If your troubleshooting does not restore functionality, this is a LIN module... it is directly sensitive to voltage glitches - Then you can direct your attention to cleaning the painted GND Posts located at front L+R footwells. Of course youll need to power down the vehicle which will effectively also reboot all its sleepless modules that have soft-crashed after prolonged service.
I recommend you ensure your main battery condition is in good repair.
FLOAT it with a CTEK using regular NON -AGM Setting to preserve your car electronics from seeing unusual higher voltage (RTFM: Read the CTEK manual).
