left side DRL problem

Hi guys,
I need help if someone had the same problem.
A few days ago my left DRL stopped working and I got message on screen, so I got new one from ebay (L hockey type) and installed it
and nothing...no luck
tried checking fuses in engine compartment and disconnecting battery, still no luck

Any ideas?

Your new headlight most likely needs to be coded to begining operating. HL programming data is held by the HL control module.

probably because short circuit happened and module needs to be decoded.
Now I need to find someone with MB scanner

If so, you might just have to flip the chip that plugs into the original bulb socket.

IF that doesn't work, check fuses as you did, follow the wiring, check grounds etc..
