Hi guys over the festive period I purchased a mint facelift steering wheel and air bag. Unfortunately after removing the old wheel and having in my head I just had to change the chip I realised this wasn't possible as my chip is different. Will buying a new column solve the issue? My car is a 2010 and the car the steering wheel was removed from was a 2014. Thankyou for you help in this.

I am going to volunteer to say no, unless you can tweak the surrounding modules.
Right know your facelift steering wheel is not fully recognized by your existing SCM...
So you're thinking: let's replace the SCM then, right?
Then I bet your facelift SCM is not going to fly with older modules... namely the facelift electric steering rack.
Although the '12 and '13 have electric steering, Cali is correct, you must replace the SCM and reprogram the car so the SCM works with all the other modules.
