Is there an engine code cutoff number for that engine that anyone knows?
In using that decoder, here is the engine code of a GL I am looking at, curious if it has cast iron liners: Engine 642826 41 765960

It's fascinating to consider the technology introduced to assemble an aluminum block with cast iron barrels, as those are very different materials and high tech we can see with Silitec and Nanoslide. Could it be as simple as a sleeve? and if so the renewal should be very simple. Has anyone come across some details?
