Any plug and play options available for a 2014? Would prefer not to have to remove or replace head unit.

I guess I am having trouble understanding how or what a plug and play unit would look like? I have never heard of adding android auto without changing the head unit. I guess you are meaning a module or something that would connect in the back of the stock unit? Something to make the display show apps on your phone? I dont think there is such thing avaliable for any vehicle. As far as I know the head unit has to be replaced due to the different internal electronic components. If you have seen such thing for any vehicle please post a link as you have struck my curiosity.

I haven't, but I don't follow this stuff closely. I assumed there doesn't exist such a solution but was hoping to be proved wrong!

You can buy a generic android auto 7 inch screen on aliexpress and somehow jerry rig it onto your vehicle. It connects via bluetooth to your phone and has android auto built into the 7incher. Now it wont be clean like our HU, but its better than nothing.

Thanks. Definitely prefer clean, but if it's not in the cards, then so be it!

Yes, but make sure you buy the the highest number in core size otherwise your display might froze under some certain tasks .I know that's not related to frozen (drinks ) but I thought I have to chime in here

Good to know but your listing for E-Class sedans DOES NOT include 2013 and 2014 ? Is this correct or a typo ? I'm looking for one of these but I have a 2013. I've seen them on eBay with 10" and 12" screens but don't know much about them yet.

Includes 2013 and 2014. It should be written "2012-2015" instead of "2012 2015"
Thank you for your reminder. This is our mistake.
W212 "2012 2013 2014 2015" is NTG4.5 system
