Last night my son was driving the 2014 E350 4matic and while making a sharp U-turn, he heard a clunk noise and then lost ability to drive the car. When I try to go in first gear, I can hear a clunking noise from the front area most likely coming from the front differential. When put in reverse there is no clunking. The car was running smooth before this problem and no messages on the instrument cluster. The following codes are present for the transmission. All three say stored and not current. Any ideas, or someone else experienced this problem before. I will have it towed to a local Houston shop on Monday.
