Hi all new to this so hoping what I'm about to say makes sense.
Had moisture get into the headlight control unit HLI FL212. Replaced it with the closest model I could get my hands on because no one actually sends the part number they put in their ads I guess.
Left low beams will come on, nothing else on left side.
Right side everything else comes on except low beams and high beams.
Copied the coding from old one in Monaco, put it into the new unit, went and did adaption to make me feel good, says successful but the lights never worked. I'm still getting the error for no voltage on circuit 30. Went back to Monaco and checked the coding against HLI FR212 all matches up. Right side says general electrical fault there is a short or open, checked supply and output voltages from 30 and 15 getting all the above. Made sure I get the signal for blinkers, low beams and high beams when switches are pushed, all good.
Checked fuses that come up for headlights, even the ones for static headlights cause why not. All good. Checked grounding everywhere I could find a ground all good.
I've started figuring it's either a relay, or coding issue or possibly one of the sam units dying.
Any advice on where to go from here? Does anyone know which relay controls circuit 30 to the right headlight?

You're in HL limp-mode -
Read the faults from HL module
If it's only "circuit 30" that means your missing power

Yeah Ive gleaned all that, thing is, I'd like to not be in limp mode anymore. Originally Posted by CaliBenzDriver

Error is the same from HL across Xentry Monaco and my little foxwell scanner (though Monaco is Monaco and has some German beforehand)
