No audio
Good morning fellas, about a week or two back I was cruising on the highway and suddenly the music cut out in an instant, everything else works as it should in the screen menu. When I checked the cars codes through the engineering menu this is what I got, is this simply a case of replacing the Bluetooth Phone Control module to restore sound?

not obvious
there are couple known audio issues but there are couple different options in use.
So it's not trivial to gues right!
Use a good MB scanner to pull faults.

- the head unit
- the main amp
- AUX interface
- and MOST fiber ring
- none of which are cheap or simple to replace!

thank you for the info, I will scan it soon to get the mb specific codes, what’s weird to me is this morning when I started the car up, the audio started blasting for about ten seconds then cut back out. Thought I lucked out but I guess not.

i'll hazard a guess that a connector is loose somewhere, maybe the MOST (fiber optic) output from the head unit to the amplification

that's good news! This means your amplifier is not toasted.
I bet on it's a logical issue...
something on CAN-B ?
Media interface module ?
head unit itself ?

Does the internal control unit reset mean anything? Both the head unit and media interface module have errors
