Looking to increase my ride height in the front
08 e350 my ride in the front is too low and I hit a lot of stuff like bottoming out.
my question is what’s the best way to increase the height in my ride in the front? Adjustable shocks?

Springs are what will effect ride height not the shocks, although if original shocks/struts they are probably shot. Getting new springs at the same time will/should restore original ride height. Now if you had/have air ride suspension or after market air shocks those can change the static ride height. If I had to guess though original springs which need replacing.

So ya went with aftermarket coil overs and the ride height is lower now? Makes sense. Probably a lowering setup. Dont know what to tell ya, maybe go back to stock or live with it, or go back to the mechanic and have them try and change it.

how much was that quick job ?
Unfortunately your old springs are long gone by now. Best option is gently used old springs that won't work with universal struts.... catch-22.
Did you get a wheel alignment to prevent extreme tire wear??
