Is there an Internal adjustment to the Handbrake?? Handle??
Hi Guys,
My 2014 E 350 wagon, facelift, has this really annoying handbrake issue in that to release the handbrake I have pull, pull, pull, pull the handle for it to release!!
Is there some kind of internal adjustment for this as the only YouTube vids I can find talk about rear shoe adjustment and I did those when I replaced the pads and skimmed the rear rotors.
Cheers!

this is a standard issue where light grease evaporates and turns into glue. Some ppl spray lubricant at it... the best way is to clean the cheap grease with brake cleaner and replace it with good silicone lubricant

on the mechanism of the emergency/parking pedal. It's one big coil spring... when you push down it all get stuck on itself tight... perfectly engineered for timely service.
1- Clean old sticky glue remainders
2- Lube coil spring
(don't inhale toxic benzene propellant!!)

my wife's e350 4matic quote often warns about the parking brake being set when its not. pulling the release handle clears it but I'm quite positive I hadn't touched the pedal before this.
