Headlight Coding when replacing headlight??

Ive got a small crack in my headlight which is causing condensation, Ive bought a second hand headlight that i'm going to swap it for. Should I swap the control module (or whatever it's called) from my old headlight to the one i'm replacing it with, and do I need to then get it coded. Its a 2014 E Class and I don't have the adaptive headlights. Hope someone can help..CHEERS

NOOOT SIMPLE!

I would simply move module over.... no coding but that may be wrong because the voltage ballast is paired to match individual LED chips.
