My headlights are the same as the stock white car picture. If I needed to change to those on the silver car, would it be plug-n-play or other hardware would be needed?
Going for a full ILS conversion as mentioned by Cali is very unlikely to be worthwhile. If the updated looks is what you want there are several aftermarket solutions that will be plug&play.

I can't say anything about the the unit on the link specifically (that link was just the first to show up on google) and my W212 has ILS+ from the factory. I did however made a similar modification on my old W204 that had halogen headlights from the factory. Those aftermarket headlights are clones made in China but they do look good and were truly plug&play on the original harness. You will have to do all the normal fitment and adjustments as if you replaced your headlights however. So if you are not prone to the DIY it would be wise to take your car to a shop to make the swap.
