Good afternoon,
Does anyone have a vacuum diagram for the rear wastegate vacuum pipe it disappeared round the back of the engine against the firewall.
I am having a 02999 fault turbo 1 pressure at low speed and garage say turbo failure but there is no play on the shaft and spins free and also both wastegates seem to hold pressure via a vacuum pump.
Thanks in advance.

We're going to fix your turbo failure for £5 plus a smile.
Wastegate are supplied with vacuum from a pump with a defective plastic check-valve. This fault conveniently disables low Rpm vacuum supply...
Of course you don't want to replace the whole turbo nor the whole pump... no sir!
