2015 E 400 4 Matic vibrations in drive and reverse on idle
Cabin vibrations on idle only with drive or reverse engaged,in park is perfect smooth.
When driving is also smooth and shifts very smoothly.
Parts already replaced:
-Engine and transmission mounts
-Front new drive axles both
Anyone has any similar issues?

Sounds like the Transmission mount has collapsed.or Engine Mount again!. I replaced both around 80K miles. I now have 145k adn the vibration has returned.

First we used brand Lemforder mounts it was still vibrating and we replace them with original from Mercedes dealerships and still vibrating,
The old transmission mounts rubber is softer then new
i installed the old transmission mount back and it’s less vibrating 😠

3.In 1and 2 is same vibration

01. What RPM is your engine when in R or D, but brake applied ?
02. Was the AC running at those time ?
If car is moving and everything is smooth, I asked above because it could be RPM too low at idle and while in gear.
When you fixed the valve train, the idle setting may have changed because intake system have to be removed.
Or there is a decent size intake leak.
Can you verify the high fuel pressure at idle with and without being in gear , while brake applied ?

i will verify the idle speed and high fuel pressure value on idle in drive and park when I go to the shop and use the Xentry.
i don’t have CEL on by the way.
A/C on and off doesn’t make any noticeable difference.
The only difference it makes and very little when I turn the steering wheel left and right slowly some spots is getting little smoother in drive or reverse.
in park or neutral I can’t feel the engine running is so smooth.
