W212 problem

Hello everyone, I am a new member of the forum and I have a w212 220 cdi 2012 om651. I have a strange problem, my car always starts fine when it is cold, but there are times when it delays starting a little when the temperature is above 30 to 85 degrees. I have changed the crankshaft sensor and I have changed the oxygen sensor. Yesterday I took it out of service and today strangely after more than 15 starts it did it again. I reiterate that only when it is warm does it cause the problem. thanks

Your hot restart issue seems to be centered around the diesel glow plugs.
I don't know what these components expected life span are on OM651.

All things Mercedes are multilayered... so heatsoaks disabling glow control may be an issue too. Thermostat may be involved in creating high heat....

Pls let us know once you get this well sorted out.

I understand, but how is it possible that most of the time it fires perfectly, then for a moment it does a delayed ignition?

your starter quad brushes may be failing, when one gets short torque is lost. Doe it crank slower than it used to ??

everything is fine! the problem is that the defect does not have a fixed temperature! it does it with 30 degrees 40 or even 70-80! the Autel computer brings out the crankshaft sensor and the oxygen sensor as well and the check engine is on! I replaced both and yesterday the car seemed fine, while today after I did 50 kilometers and let it rest for over 2 hours it seemed to me that the problem returned but unlike other times the check engine does not come out.

Great, making progress!

Do you think you can use your scanner to retrieve the CEL description ??

This will help focus your troubleshooting

Some faults are insignificant but CEL... NEVER!

If I had to guess...
something dpf or back pressure related
but you won't have to guess by using Autel scanner.
