Hard downshift on deceleration at lower speeds




The thing is, these shift characteristics come a go randomly. You may want to try different transmission modes and see if that makes a difference.
It's helpful when the engine is improving to let it rev'up automatically near 2000.Rpm instead of slugging gears like stock.

This nasty behavior is 100% based on poor throttle control. It's especially not the tranny causing that as it is on the receiving end.
